Chabad readings of mazal as the channel through which higher influence reaches the soul; not luck, but received providence.
Seventy-seven is the numerical value of mazal (מזל): mem (40) + zayin (7) + lamed (30) = 77. The word is often translated as ‘luck’, but the tradition reads it more precisely as the constellation under which a soul is placed, the channel through which higher influence pours into a life.
Bottle No. 77 of the Bereshit Series carries this reading. The Hebrew document accompanying it positions the numeral within the Chabad register in which mazal is not luck but received providence — the upper source of what reaches the lower table.
It is a numeral often chosen for life-cycle gifting: a bottle that names the channel of blessing itself, presented at a wedding, a brit, a bar or bat mitzvah, an anniversary, the opening of a house.

Bottle No. 77 of the Bereshit Series is part of the Holy Numbers Edition. It is delivered with an individual Hebrew document placing the numeral in its traditional context, under rabbinical supervision within the Chabad-Lubavitch tradition. Price: € 7,700. Allocation by private invitation only.
