Engraved bottle numbering is the practice of marking the unique edition number directly onto the bottle's glass, typically by laser etching, sandblasting, or diamond-point engraving. The number becomes structural to the bottle and survives any label damage, repackaging, or label substitution.
Printed numbering, by contrast, places the edition number on a paper or foil label that can be removed, altered, or reproduced. For a collector edition, engraved numbering is the higher standard — the bottle and its identity are inseparable.
Tannenblut bottles in the Bereshit Series carry engraved numbering. Printed numbering is not used at any tier.
