An allocation list, also called a collector list, is the private registry through which a producer assigns individual bottles of a closed edition to specific collectors. The list exists in place of retail distribution; bottles are allocated rather than sold from a shelf.
Inclusion is typically by application, by introduction, or by prior collecting relationship. The list closes when the edition closes. Within an edition, the producer may accept requests for specific bottle numbers where those numbers remain unallocated.
The Tannenblut Bereshit Series operates exclusively through an allocation list; there is no public retail. Applications are received at https://tannenblut.co/en/koschermarkt/collector-registration .
